Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator or proven ability as a Linux Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration including server installation, configuration, bash scripting, and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure.
• 2+ years of Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with running Cassandra or other JVM-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our Linux-based database systems.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to align infrastructure with application needs.
• Enhance and maintain existing Cassandra infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Automate common tasks for improved operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 system support.
