Solutions Engineer - Professional Services

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience in a professional software engineering or solutions engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree with a technical focus, preferably in Computer Science.
• Experience in building applications or integrations within a SaaS company, with a focus on back-end development.
• Proficient in at least one server-side language, preferably Ruby on Rails.
• Front-end development experience with familiarity in JavaScript libraries/frameworks, such as React or AngularJS.
• Experience with modern build, testing tools, and Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Strong capability to articulate technical resolutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic industry and product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom solutions that extend Salsify’s platform for strategic customers.
• Deliver projects while balancing timelines, budgets, and support levels.
• Manage and communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate in the pre-sales phase to define and scope proposed solutions.
• Provide consultation on executing technical customer projects.
• Implement updates to custom integrations as new product capabilities are released.
