Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong data entry skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Advanced Excel skills, including familiarity with pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger with accuracy.
• Handle daily entries, reconciliations, and transaction postings.
• Process invoices and outgoing payments while tracking collections.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with tax filing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Gather documentation for internal and external audits.
• Use accounting software for maintaining records.
• Provide financial insights while working with cross-functional teams.
