Senior System Administrator - Remote

Requirements:

• 3+ years recent experience as a Linux administrator/engineer (dozens of systems).
• 2+ years designing, developing, and operating Configuration Management solutions (Ansible preferred).
• Experience with 3rd party providers.
• Solid experience in Linux tuning, profiling, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, SQL, GIT.
• Strong knowledge of networking & troubleshooting (TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, firewalls, VLANs, DNS, LDAP).
• Skills in at least one programming language (Python preferred, Bash).
• Proven experience in critical thinking for complex problem-solving.
• Previous work as a team coordinator or supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, operate and develop the proxy infrastructure.
• Maintain relationship with IP providers and act as the main contact.
• Write tools and scripts for automation and self-service.
• Design new systems to support production services.
• Address scalability challenges creatively.
• Improve monitoring and identify key performance metrics.
• Conduct proactive R&D on new providers, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and application issues.
• Apply critical thinking to facilitate discussions and explore solutions.
