Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in UX research, human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in a federal consulting or government environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
• Proven ability to lead research strategy and execution for multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience to mentor junior researchers.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business requirements.
• Designing and conducting various research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
• Analyzing and synthesizing research findings into actionable insights.
• Communicating research findings to teams and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Leading the development of research plans and documentation.
• Mentoring and coaching junior researchers.
• Contributing to research frameworks for consistency and scalability.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
