Requirements:

• Seven plus years of successful fundraising experience with individual major donors.
• Experience creating and implementing fundraising strategies for endowments/planned giving.
• Leadership experience in team management and staff development.
• Knowledge of various development activities like direct solicitations and event management.
• Strong relationship-building skills with major donors.
• Ability to create and maintain internal relationships and balance stakeholder needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion.
• Experience in organizations with distributed workforces using diverse communication methods.
• Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in changing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Retain, recruit, and manage a team of fundraising professionals.
• Achieve annual major gifts and planned giving targets and develop donor journeys.
• Collaborate on sustainable major giving strategy implementation.
• Develop the planned giving program and build its pipeline.
• Partner with event and stewardship managers to enhance fundraising and donor recognition.
• Collaborate with the Endowment Board on fundraising strategy.
• Steward diverse donor portfolios and undertake individual solicitations.
• Oversee major donor prospecting and support systems needed for development.
• Generate creative solutions for donor experience and fundraising performance.
• Coordinate with other teams to enhance organizational impact.
