Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work or customer service related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer centric response.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinking and basic judgment/decision making skills are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Completes required training including online, virtual, classroom, and on-the-job instruction.
• Handles 1st party property claims of moderate severity and complexity.
• Investigates claims to determine coverage, damages, and liability.
• Establishes accurate claims reserves and determines appropriate settlement amounts.
• Negotiates claims settlements and writes complex correspondence.
• Maintains a diary system for claim activities and ensures compliance with state regulations.
• Provides excellent customer service and manages file inventory for timely resolutions.
