Requirements:

• A BSc in Information Technology or in a relevant field or a combination of related education and work experience.
• Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management Software (preferably MySQL).
• Basic knowledge & administration skills in Linux systems (preferably Redhat & Centos).
• Basic understanding of NoSQL database (preferably +CQL Cassandra Query Language & Cassandra Data Modeling).
• Basic knowledge of DSE & Apache Cassandra environments.
• Basic knowledge of Python Programming language.
• Basic knowledge of BASH scripting.
• Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Join the DBA team responsible for monitoring and tuning the company’s Database Servers.
• Perform management, capacity planning, and improvement of DSE & Apache Cassandra Clusters and MySQL & Azure SQL & Cosmos DB Servers.
• Participate in installation and configuration of new Clusters/Servers such as Azure SQL/MySQL/Cosmos DB Server & DSE & Cassandra.
• Handle troubleshooting, backup/recovery, connectivity, and security in Cloud/Server/Database environments.
• Implement automation and functionality scripts using Python/BASH/PowerShell.
