Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project development related to energy assets, real estate, energy policy, or project finance.
• Experience supporting the lifecycle development of renewable energy or energy storage projects.
• Familiarity with site lease agreements, building permit approvals, and power purchase agreements.
• Ability to think creatively and work independently or as part of a diverse team.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Plus Power’s processes to acquire project sites and manage due diligence.
• Manage a project pipeline and execute on complex milestone deliverables with stakeholders.
• Solve site, permit, and technology issues with internal experts and external stakeholders.
• Understand financing elements to ensure projects meet financial hurdles.
• Identify opportunities and manage RFP submissions with the markets and origination team.
• Negotiate power purchase agreements and related documents to secure commercial terms.
