Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience as an IBM DB2 DBA.
• Previous programming experience using shell scripting.
• Active Security+ certification preferred.
• Experience in a federal government agency environment preferred.
• Previous leadership experience highly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and secure DB2 databases.
• Perform maintenance of application configuration files and kernel parameters.
• Automate system deployments and integrations.
• Secure database environments per NIST and DHA standards.
• Assist with training on I.T. applications and government policy.
• Create and manage backup, restoration, and recovery processes.
• Execute archive and data retention tasks.
• Test and install IAVA compliance items.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution.
