Requirements:

• 4-8 years of underwriting experience in management or professional liability insurance.
• A network of brokers, carriers, underwriters, or clients in the management liability or professional liability space.
• Expertise in various specialty liability products.
• Ability to engage successfully with brokers for long-term partnerships.
• Confidence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in sales and account management.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Flexibility for travel when necessary.
• College Degree with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals, underwriting in accordance with procedures.
• Price accounts with competitive terms quickly and thoughtfully.
• Manage quote related communication and questions in a thoughtful manner.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team on understanding complex account exposures.
• Provide market feedback and recommend improvements to terms, rates, and guidelines.
• Bind accounts through continuous engagement with assigned brokers.
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and industry events.
