Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting.
  • 5+ years experience in leading an accounting team and function.
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus.
  • Experience working for a manufacturer/CPG.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced accounting department.
  • Netsuite experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial reports for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Implement and refine accounting systems for efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on processes and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings and financial reporting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for year-end financial statements.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff.
