Requirements:

• Doctoral degree (PharmD or DNP) or equivalent training preferred.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Health Science field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience as a medical science liaison.
• Pediatric endocrinology, endocrinology, or rare disease experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the field-based external facing medical representation of Medical Affairs.
• Create awareness of Ascendis Pharma in the endocrinology community.
• Maintain expertise to support portfolio and disease states.
• Provide medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Identify KOLs and organizations for disease states.
• Capture insights and communicate to internal stakeholders.
• Build relationships with internal colleagues.
• Support clinical trial operations and participate in patient find activities.
