Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years recent OP coding experience with at least 2 years in multiple specialties, including Pulmonary and Cardiology.
• Experience in Evaluation and Management (E/M) leveling, assignment of CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, and Units of Service.
• Familiarity with auditing profee and providing education to physicians is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and usage.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant computer systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional fee coding and maintain a minimum coding accuracy rate of 95% in ICD-10-CM, E&M, and CPT.
• Conduct audits when requested by clients.
• Provide profee education to physicians when applicable.
• Support the healthcare facility's HIM and Revenue Cycle Services.
