Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a credit and/or fraud strategy development role at a lending organization.
  • Experience working with large, complex time series datasets at a financial institution.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and SAS.
  • Proven experience utilizing consumer and commercial credit data for enhancing credit strategies.
  • Expertise in automated decision engine underwriting strategy and monitoring changes.
  • Financial modeling skills for cost-benefit analysis from A/B testing.
  • Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders including executive management.

Responsibilities:
  • Propose, implement, and analyze testing to enhance credit risk framework features including approvals, line assignment, pricing, and term lengths.
  • Create strategies to identify and mitigate fraud risk throughout the credit lifecycle.
  • Partner with small business lending data providers to optimize and explore new data for credit and fraud strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing experiments to improve credit performance.
  • Implement and monitor proprietary credit models utilizing unique data.
  • Develop and execute credit and fraud risk tracking and credit bureau reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Finance, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
