Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIC) are a plus.
• 10+ years in insurance claims management experience, focusing on commercial auto with bodily injury.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transportation (interstate trucking) claims.
• Experience with third-party bodily injury, UM/UIM bodily injury, litigation, and MCS90.
• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in a remote setting.
• Comfort with technology and ability to evolve claims systems for efficiency.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a unit of long-haul/interstate trucking bodily injury and APD managers overseeing a team of desk level Claims Professionals.
• Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling, including claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
• Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Align team with client expectations and serve as a resource for escalated claims.
• Responsible for accuracy and adequacy of claim reserving.
• Develop and implement strategies for fraud mitigation.
• Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork.
• Execute performance management; attract and retain talent.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex claims-related issues.
• Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports to clients.
