• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transportation claims, specifically with interstate tractor trailer.
• Active adjuster license(s) required, with willingness to obtain all necessary licenses within 45 days.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard procedures.
• Ability to analyze claims data and make sound decisions.
• Curiosity and motivation for problem solving and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Initiate investigations and resolve customer claims.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish initial reserves.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Identify recovery opportunities regarding subrogation and total loss.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and communicate with all involved parties.
• Negotiate settlements within approved payment authority.
• Provide input for claims guidelines and process improvements.
