Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (lack of one should not stop you from applying if you possess all the other qualifications).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience concentrated in commercial transportation claims adjusting.
• Experience with third-party bodily injury, including catastrophic losses, UM/UIM bodily injury, and litigation.
• Knowledge of MCS90 and its state equivalents.
• Active adjuster license(s) and willingness to obtain all required licenses within 60 days.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to travel for client and claim needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants.
• Gather necessary information from customers to initiate claims and explain the claims process.
• Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves, and adjust as necessary.
• Work with the APD team on handling property damage claims and recognize recovery opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and negotiate settlements within approved payment authority.
• Continuously develop claims guidelines and provide input for process improvements.
• Engage with investigative service providers to ensure quick claim resolution.
