Requirements:

• 5-10 years of sales, trading, and brokerage of Renewable Energy Credits and Carbon Offsets in WREGIS markets including but not limited to California, Washington, & Oregon.
• Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly.
• Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Leveraging deep relationships with WECC contacts to source & supply compliance RECs and Offsets across all WECC markets.
• Working with existing traders to expand WECC trading activities.
• Understanding and identifying arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book.
• Creating strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals.
• Developing an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes.
• Maintaining relationships in the renewable energy sector.
• Representing the firm at conferences and engaging with stakeholders within the industry.
