Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing live production SaaS environments with high load.
• Experience working in a centralized reliability or SRE team configuration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure solutions, particularly in Kubernetes environments.
• Background in software development or engineering roles with a focus on reliability.
• Knowledgeable about scaling reliability solutions across the engineering organization.
• Proficient in AWS or deep expertise in Azure/GCP with the willingness to learn AWS.
• Ability to deliver maintainable, high-quality code in Go or other programming languages.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Use modern infrastructure management tools like AWS to build scalable platforms for Grammarly’s services.
• Be an ambassador for Operational Excellence by improving incident management tooling and processes.
• Implement proactive reliability improvements including automated deployment, canary analysis, self-healing, and auto-scaling.
• Manage cloud-native infrastructure solutions, including Kubernetes clusters and service discovery.
• Build solutions and frameworks for testing, deploying, and observing service reliability.
• Participate in on-call incident response and escalation procedures.
