PR & Marketing Manager

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in PR and Marketing roles, preferably in an agency setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in German and English.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative storytelling and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and manage relationships.
• Proven ability to create and manage timelines with attention to detail.
• Experience in budget tracking and vendor management.
• Proficiency in presentation management and PR tracking tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build, strengthen, and sustain Whalar's reputation in the DACH region.
• Develop relationships with media to keep Whalar's ethos in mind.
• Support external consumer PR for clients and partners.
• Track editorial calendars and cultural trends for story pitching.
• Assist in thought leadership plans and event participation.
• Draft and distribute press releases and media materials.
• Manage media inquiries and interviews.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare effectiveness reports.
• Collaborate on internal communications plans.
• Align messaging with the Whalar Group PR team.
• Plan and support events including campaign launches and client dinners.
• Manage vendors and agency subscriptions.
