Navigation Engineer

Requirements:

• MS, PhD degree or equivalent practical experience in Aerospace, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in multi-sensor fusion navigation systems for aerospace systems.
• Expertise in Kalman Filtering and other estimation methods.
• Experience in estimation, dynamics, controls, and/or simulation.
• Development experience in a numerical computing environment such as MATLAB, python, or similar.

Responsibilities:

• Create innovative and reliable navigation solutions for our fleet of autonomous aircraft.
• Analyze and evaluate various sensor modalities, including GNSS/INS.
• Perform system integration activities and understand impacts on delivery system performance.
• Develop filtering solutions to fuse information from various sensor technologies.
• Engage with experts in Computer Vision and Perception techniques.
• Contribute to the testing and analysis infrastructure.
• Participate in team processes like documentation, test-plan generation, and code reviews.
