Experienced Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) - Remote

Requirements:

• Experience working for a product company, ideally a startup.
• 8+ years Platform Engineering/DevOps/System administration.
• 4+ years extensive, everyday Kubernetes experience designing, deploying and operating production environments using cloud native tools.
• 5+ years public cloud experience: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure.
• 4+ years extensive Terraform experience, including managing large infrastructures.
• 3+ years programming experience in Go (preferred) or Python.
• Experience securing infrastructure for internet-facing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deploy cloud-based environments for all stages of application development and testing.
• Build deployment tooling to allow application developers greater autonomy and self service.
• Find and mitigate application, cloud, and network vulnerabilities and bottlenecks.
• Develop and deploy CI/CD automation infrastructure using Github Actions and Flux.
• Ensure appropriate application and infrastructure logging and monitoring to maintain high uptime.
• Monitor system components and application processing to proactively identify and resolve incidents.
