Requirements:

• Education: Associate's degree in healthcare or business field with 3 years coding experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years coding experience.
• Licensure/Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H, or CPC required.
• Strong background and experience in Professional or Outpatient Coding is necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct documentation and coding reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations.
• Perform record reviews for various medical codes to assess overall coding accuracy.
• Identify documentation and educational gaps in coding practices.
• Mentor, train, and provide ongoing feedback and education to all coding staff.
