• 10+ years of public sector sales leadership experience.
• Active security clearance.
• Track record of building high-performing teams and exceeding targets.
• Deep expertise in public sector software/SaaS sales, ideally with exposure to AI/ML.
• Experience managing teams focused on federal, state, and local government.
• Strategic mindset combined with ability to rapidly operationalize insights.
• Adept at navigating complex public sector organizations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for bringing transformative technologies to the public sector in an ethical, responsible way.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the public sector go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth.
• Build the public sector sales organization, providing leadership and development.
• Strengthen partnerships with key public sector partners to accelerate adoption.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to tailor offerings for government needs.
• Analyze public sector trends to continually refine go-to-market strategies.
• Oversee the public sector sales team, providing guidance on deal strategy.
• Communicate public sector priorities and resource needs to sales leadership.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with teams across Anthropic.
