Requirements:

• A technical Bachelor's degree with a preference towards mechanical, electrical, environmental, or architectural engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years' of engineering or work experience in a related area.
• Knowledge of Title 24, ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, and other energy codes.
• Demonstrated ability to write technical reports and provide presentations.
• Experience with data analysis, scripting, and large-scale simulations.
• Project management experience including budget development and management.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to conduct occasional business travel.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment review, measure development, new measure support and research, data analysis, and program technical support.
• Develop analysis of savings, costs, and impacts of energy efficient and low carbon technologies in the context of energy policy.
• Develop calculation methodologies to estimate demand and demand response potential for residential and non-residential sectors.
• Write reports on technical topics, including energy savings analysis and code compliance.
• Support business development efforts and proposals.
• Lead project management, quality control, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Communicate engineering topics between technical and non-technical staff.
• Develop strategies for optimizing energy savings and GHG reductions.
