Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Medical Scribe or Live Scribe in an Ophthalmology setting.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures.
• Excellent listening and typing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to document in real-time during patient encounters.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Good communication and collaborative skills.
• Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (Pacific Standard Time).

Responsibilities:

• Assist Ophthalmologists in real-time documentation during patient consultations.
• Accurately record patient history, symptoms, examinations, and assessments.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify dictations and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Review and edit records as needed for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize provided software and tools to streamline documentation processes.
