  • Passionate about teaching Data Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Developer, or in related fields.
  • Excellent understanding of data engineering skills, tools, and concepts.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Python, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud engineering, data modeling, and Apache Kafka.
  • Able to solve real-life data engineering problems and work with large datasets.
  • Empathetic with excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts.
Responsibilities:
  • Mentor students in the Data Engineering Career Track course.
  • Hold biweekly 30-minute check-ins with students to discuss questions and project progress.
  • Provide career advice and mentorship outside of scheduled calls.
