• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, modifier selection, and UB revenue codes.
• Healthcare-related field of study or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with medical billing systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to analyze and report trends effectively.

• Track outcomes of payments, appeals, and claims.
• Lead weekly meetings on key metrics and performance opportunities.
• Monitor billing and coding changes, research guidance for departmental actions.
• Coordinate with management on revenue cycle trends and issues.
• Develop goals and metrics to align departmental initiatives with organizational strategy.
• Manage implementation and project plans.
• Educate teams on performance improvement requirements.
• Explore technologies for improvement opportunities.
