Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
• 3+ to 5 years of experience in software development.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Capability to analyze complex systems and identify failure scenarios.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL statements.
• Strong empathy for the end user and passion for user experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Multitasking and attention to detail are crucial.
• Hands-on experience with Development to Production processes, testing, version control tools like git, and continuous integration.
• Experience with Linux, Containers, Scripting, and SQL.
• Proactive initiative in resolving issues and developing creative solutions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform well under pressure.
• Willingness to be on-call.

Responsibilities:

• Identify patterns and opportunities to enhance application stability through automation and code changes.
• Optimize application observability by improving metrics, logs, and traces.
• Perform code fixes for issues and production deployments with minimal supervision.
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical production issues and execute resolution plans.
• Lead postmortem meetings with stakeholders such as application, production support, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop tools for rapid automation of repeatable tasks.
