Requirements:
  • 5+ years enterprise selling energy-related products to large corporate buyers.
  • 5+ years full sales cycle experience with established sales methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger, and Solutions Selling.
  • 3+ years in renewable energy origination, corporate energy procurement, power trading, or energy risk management.
  • Experience selling web-based software as a service (SaaS).
  • Experience selling to Directors, VP’s, and C-Suite executives.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Proven track record of consistent goal/quota attainment.
  • Discipline in CRM use and detailed data entry.
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with assigned accounts of the largest energy buyers in North America.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies aligned with customer goals.
  • Lead full sales cycles from prospect to close for platform subscription sales.
  • Increase brand visibility by attending and speaking at conferences, attracting new buyers.
  • Become an expert in assigned customers, representing their interests within the company.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and maintain customer and opportunity records in CRM.
  • Support communications strategy including PR, social media, and thought leadership.
  • Contribute thought leadership for process improvement.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
