Associate General Counsel - Core team

Requirements:

• Senior qualified lawyer with in-house experience, ideally as Head of Legal.
• Experience in tech or SAAS companies.
• Legal Operations experience is a plus.
• Good familiarity with global laws, focusing on HR and employment law.
• Team leadership and management experience.
• Experience in advising on employment law throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Proven experience across multiple jurisdictions with a strong understanding of contract negotiation, litigation, and compliance.
• Passionate about tech and HR tech products.
• Technologically competent and able to master applications like Slack, Notion, Google Drive, etc.
• Ability to oversee and guide senior and junior lawyers.

Responsibilities:

• Take on a senior leadership role within the Core team and work alongside Core team managers to build the team for success.
• Collaborate with the Head of Legal Ops to streamline legal and operational processes and ensure compliance.
• Manage and mentor the Core legal team, setting goals and ensuring professional growth.
• Collaborate with other departments for legal guidance and compliance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and advise on legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage external counsel and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
