Staff Electrical Engineer

Requirements:

• MS or BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design in consumer products.
• Experience designing electrical systems with Microprocessors, memory devices, power systems, high-speed transceivers, and various serial interfaces.
• Proficient in Orcad CIS schematic and Allegro PCB EDA tools.
• Hands-on experience with electrical lab equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for driving electrical design reviews.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team to accomplish project deliverables.
• Conduct electrical circuit design with ORCAD and perform PCB layout reviews.
• Release electrical BOM to PLM system and select electrical components.
• Develop and validate electrical design documents to meet various requirements.
• Resolve technical issues and communicate across functional teams.
• Review and qualify alternative electrical parts during validation and support post-production.
• Ensure electrical designs meet EMC compliance.
