Requirements:

• 3-5 years of ServiceNow development experience, preferably within ITOM/CMDB.
• Experience with Discovery and service discovery capabilities.
• Ability to comprehend, communicate, and implement ITOM/CMDB.
• Proficiency in server-side, object-oriented JavaScript, and scripting using Unix Shell, Windows, and PowerShell.
• Experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
• IT Operations experience in storage, network, and compute in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of service-oriented and distributed application architecture.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow ITOM visibility products.
• Ability to manage MID servers and configure service mapping rules.

Responsibilities:

• Creating new service maps and validating related event management capabilities.
• Enhancing ServiceNow event rules for proper CMDB binding.
• Interacting with technical SMEs for necessary environment information.
• Reflecting impact assessment rules within service maps and validating with stakeholders.
• Participating in user acceptance testing of maps, impact rules, and event management work.
• Promoting updates across applicable ServiceNow environments.
• Remediating production incidents related to the scope.
• Aligning with the existing technical lead to ensure a consistent approach.
• Maintaining operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk.
