Requirements:

• Education in information technology and a post-graduate legal qualification or Law degree strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in compliance, data privacy or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001/14001/27001, SOC 2).
• Strong understanding of software as a platform and knowledge of modern cloud computing systems preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISA) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences industries is a plus.
• Skills include attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure compliance and data privacy requirements are integrated into products and services.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance compliance operations.
• Review data protection regulations, develop compliance plans, and prepare documentation.
• Act as a resource for internal staff on compliance and data privacy issues.
• Perform compliance audits to assess adherence and identify improvement areas.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation related to compliance activities.
• Design, implement, and manage an effective compliance program including training.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify compliance risks.
• Manage compliance-related incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Collaborate with external parties to obtain necessary certifications.
• Provide guidance and training to promote a culture of compliance.
• Conduct due diligence on third parties to ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing training programs for legal compliance.
• Collaborate on corporate policies and risk management strategies.
• Support business units on compliance matters and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure secure compliance with regulations.
• Identify process gaps to enhance compliance operations.
• Draft policies and review laws and standards.
