Requirements:

• J.D. required.
• 3 - 4 years of experience within a top-tier law firm, with in-house experience in utility scale renewable energy development preferred.
• Extensive drafting and negotiating experience with real property agreements.
• Experience in title and survey review and resolution.
• Familiarity with energy title policies for renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of full project development lifecycle and material project documents.
• Experience in M&A transactions and collaborative work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support Real Estate’s Land Acquisition and Management Team in drafting and negotiating real property agreements.
• Support Real Estate’s Title and Survey Team in resolving complex title and survey issues.
• Serve as Legal team lead in site acquisition closings.
• Support real estate deliverables for project financings and tax equity investments.
• Serve as Legal team lead advising on tax equity fundings and debt term conversions.
• Assist in developing best practices for the Real Estate Team.
• Oversee and assist in engagement of local and external counsel.
