Requirements:

• Minimum seven years of experience in field organizing.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of State Organizers while providing mentoring and coaching.
• Support the Alabama State Office campaigns and public education as directed by the Alabama State Director.
• Develop relationships and partnerships with local community members and allies.
• Coordinate teams to successfully advance team goals and build effective collaborative systems.
• Develop and execute a strategic organizing plan that addresses poverty as an intersectional issue statewide.
• Track progress toward goals and ensure alignment with approved tactics and organizational impact.
• Hire, train, and monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
• Uphold SPLC's JEDI principles by seeking diverse collaborators.
