Requirements:
  • A proven leader with at least 5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree, preferably in nursing education.
  • 10+ years of experience as an RN or APRN serving maternal-newborn or pediatric populations.
  • Ability to work remotely and be internet-connected.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel.
  • Understanding of birth inequity and its impact on maternal morbidity and mortality.
  • Proficiency with multiple tech platforms and eagerness for system improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of clinical educators and onboarding specialists.
  • Determine core clinical competencies and assessment criteria across specialties.
  • Develop clinical onboarding and training roadmap in collaboration with the Director, Clinical Onboarding & Training Operations.
  • Design and update clinical training programs for staff including new employee orientation and specialized training.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clinical staff.
  • Monitor quality of care with quality team and identify training opportunities.
  • Support the team in addressing care barriers identified by patients or care team.
  • Hold the team accountable for improving outcomes by increasing clinician uptake of training.
  • Identify professional growth opportunities for team members.
