Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity of tax preparation and accounting tasks.
  • Either hold a current and valid certified public accountant's license, or meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam with a history of efforts to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with international compliance forms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in use of computer accounting and tax programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of supervisor, manager or partner including the preparation of individual, trust, corporate, partnership and S-corporation tax returns.
  • Participates in planning, scheduling and supervising client engagements.
  • Determines the extent of review required in a tax return and selects elements to be reviewed.
  • Supervises and instructs one or more staff in work to be performed, reviews results, and directs necessary revisions.
  • Meets time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Preparation and organization of tax working papers.
