Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience managing SMB/mid-market field sales teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in SMB/mid-market sales as an individual contributor.
  • Experience in early-stage, high-velocity startups.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Expertise in hiring, training, and performance management for field sales teams.
  • Skills in demand generation and relationship building strategies.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, with a background in data management.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Hire and onboard new Strategic Growth Managers (SGMs).
  • Train SGMs to identify, contact, and create qualified agency opportunities.
  • Track pipeline and performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback.
  • Accurately forecast SGM goal attainment.
  • Develop and document team processes and sales strategies.
  • Provide leadership presence to source new business.
  • Leverage negotiation skills to close new business.
  • Motivate and incentivize team members for top performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to improve scouting processes.
  • Work with Marketing to create effective messaging.
