Requirements:

• 10+ years of Storage Racking, Material Handling design and/or installation experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Desire to learn.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Motivation to solve problems independently.
• Technical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Review bid packages and specifications for design compliance.
• Create material take-offs from design drawings.
• Determine required hardware based on material bills and design factors.
• Collaborate with structural engineers for preliminary engineering.
• Research design changes and submit bills to fabricators for pricing.
• Develop installation work scope and obtain bids from contractors.
• Mark up design and installation drawings for accuracy.
• Work with project managers post-order to ensure correct components are ordered.
• Assist in procurement tasks including placing orders and tracking shipments.
• Occasional site visits for troubleshooting and training.
