Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to obtain or maintain US Government Security Clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/intelligence/military experience.
  • 10+ years of proven enterprise-level B2G business development experience, including working knowledge of U.S. Government policy, legislative, budgeting, contracting, and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the U.S. federal and civil space community.
  • Previous experience working with or in the U.S. federal and civil space community and respective acquisition organizations.
  • Proven track record of identifying and closing business opportunities in relevant U.S. federal and civil program areas.
  • Strong customer and industry relationships within the intelligence community and across multiple agencies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and nurture trusted partnerships with customers and industry partners, influencing requirements and acquisition strategies.
  • Adhere to strategic pursuit process and serve as the lead on various areas, gathering customer intelligence, participating in industry briefings, and understanding customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential opportunities, tracking progress from identification to proposal submission.
  • Meet or exceed Quarterly MBOs by securing new contracts and strategic programs.
  • Develop capture strategies for major contracts in collaboration with the capture manager and proposal teams.
  • Regularly update senior leadership on capture progress and risks, ensuring alignment with company growth goals.
  • Contribute to the development of win themes, value propositions, and differentiators in proposals.
  • Accurately forecast bookings from identified opportunities.
