Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Previous experience in fintech or with payment processes.
  • Legal background and knowledge of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules is a plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily payment operations, including processing client and office payments, invoices, managing client account balances, handling disbursements, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for client and office accounts.
  • Ensure all payment processes comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Work with legal teams to address any issues related to payment operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in payment processes and implement creative solutions to enhance efficiency and client and lawyer experience.
  • Prepare regular reports on payment operations, including performance metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with clients regarding their accounts and resolve any queries or discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of payment operations projects and initiatives, driving them from conception to execution.
