Requirements:

• Team player with a commitment to integrity and winning the right way.
• BA/BS required, JD preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of total public policy/state government experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience advocating in front of policymakers.
• Ability to communicate complex issues simply for internal and external audiences.
• Ability to quickly learn the complexities of a highly regulated industry.
• Experience building coalitions and working with industry stakeholders.
• Intuitive grasp of political landscapes and the legislative process across multiple states.
• Passion for teamwork and willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage external lobbying and grassroots firms, associations, and other organizations for state policy issues.
• Work with third parties to develop FanDuel’s legislative strategy and messaging on key policy issues.
• Organize public affairs campaigns intended to advance FanDuel’s legislative goals.
• Regularly interface with internal business leaders to present information on the legislative state of play.
• Advocate for FanDuel and our customers in front of policymakers and key stakeholders.
• Interpret gaming legislation and communicate business impacts with tight turnaround times.
