Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of proven experience as an Art Director in the gaming industry with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Knowledge of the Roblox platform and experience working with teams inside.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard design tools and software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with practical considerations and project constraints.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the art team, driving the artistic direction of our games and ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision.
  • Inspire and mentor artists, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Define and communicate the artistic vision of our games, ensuring a consistent and visually compelling experience for players.
  • Collaborate with game designers, writers, and other stakeholders to integrate visual elements seamlessly into the overall game narrative.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of art-related tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with producers to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and animators, to ensure cohesive integration of art assets into the game environment.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and iterative creative process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of art assets to maintain a high level of quality and consistency with the established artistic direction.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve any visual issues.
