Requirements:

• PhD or equivalent industry R&D expertise in geochemistry, chemistry, or material science, specifically in CO2 mineralisation processes.
• In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art geochemical carbon dioxide removal technologies and sustainable construction material manufacturing.
• Familiarity with material characterisation techniques, including XRF, XDR, TGA, and SEM for metal silicate rock and industrial waste characterisation.
• Experience in building technologies from concept to demonstration and industry-specific know-how within the carbon market and construction material sector.
• A creative and positive mindset, willing to learn and contribute new ideas.

Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with the DSV team and another Founder in Residence to co-found and spin out a new company focused on CO2 mineralisation.
• Your role involves building and scaling new technologies from concept to demonstration while receiving support from DSV post-spinout.
• You'll collaboratively develop innovative solutions that address the urgent need for effective CO2 removal technologies.
