Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
• Good knowledge of Bash and Python.
• Working knowledge of databases and microservice architectures.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of performance troubleshooting.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Collaborative team spirit.
• Experience with software engineering, customer experience, and civil engineering.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Flink/Spark/Ignite/Redis is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Monitoring and maintaining dev, staging, and production SaaS environments.
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development, testing, and release processes with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Working with the customer success team to identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes.
• Collaborating with software developers and engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
