Requirements:

• Extensive experience leading projects and teams in software development.
• Strong proficiency and experience in Python and TypeScript (ideally React).
• Experience building and running software solutions in the cloud, preferably on AWS.
• Experience with operational excellence and incident response best practices.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Passion for developer tooling and cloud development.
• Ideally experience with data platforms and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience contributing to open source projects on Github is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Implement cutting-edge functionality in the LocalStack platform and Web user interface.
• Lead projects from idea to delivery, ensuring high-quality results.
• Develop and expand SaaS offerings, including the LocalStack Web and Desktop apps.
• Ensure operational excellence of the SaaS service.
• Initiate and drive projects independently, clarifying ambiguity and understanding customer needs.
• Drive development of tooling and cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated solutions.
• Run internal demos and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Communicate with customers to understand their requirements.
