Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales with a focus on channel/partners
  • 1+ years of leadership preferred
  • Experience growing and distributing new products with channels via compelling economic incentives and close collaboration with internal and external sales and marketing teams
  • Experience working with payroll partners including ADP, Paychex, Paycor, Paylocity, etc.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale, and delivering results
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders, both internally and externally
  • Ability to leverage data to develop business plans, understand customers and market insight and analyze program effectiveness
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales quota targets
  • Ability to travel 20-25% annually
Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our strategic payroll channel partners (including ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, Paycor, etc.)
  • Develop and implement channel sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with partners to create joint business plans and set performance objectives
  • Ensure channel partners have a deep understanding of Tapcheck’s products
  • Manage the performance of existing partners, and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals
  • Develop and implement channel partner programs such as trainings, webinars, newsletters, and joint marketing efforts
  • Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as trainings, sales, and other growth levers
  • Collaborate with Product and GTM teams to develop and execute a holistic partner strategy, from partner integrations that enhance Tapcheck's products to channel partners that drive new seller acquisition
  • Be accountable to KPI’s and business objectives each quarter
  • Determine and prioritize the appropriate mix of partner benefits, incentives, and co-marketing + sales opportunities necessary to secure a lucrative partnership deal
  • Lead a team of 2 Channel Partners
