Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience working in engineering teams.
• At least 2 years experience working in a healthtech, medical, medtech, or similar highly regulated environment is highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading technology teams in fast-paced environments, with deep knowledge of software architecture, solution design, coding, and agile methodologies.
• Comfortable with people management, financial management, and strong customer-facing skills.
• Familiarity with safely integrating AI into clinical workflows and navigating TGA certification for healthcare software products is a big bonus.
• Excellent communicator able to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Inspire, mentor, and develop the tech team while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Take ownership of architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in our systems.
• Ensure timely and efficient project delivery within our Agile, cross-functional, and remote-friendly teams.
• Collaborate with our founding and executive team to define how technology can reinforce our competitive advantage.
• Oversee AI integration in products, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage secure, scalable data systems.
• This is a hands-on role that’ll evolve over time, requiring initial involvement in coding, bug triaging, and delivery management.
